How Vanilla Forums Work On Mobile

With more and more people accessing the Internet through mobile devices, either as their primary means or a close secondary, it’s clear that forum owners need to adjust their forums to address this.  With Vanilla Forums you get solutions for mobile forums right out of the "box" (not really a box, it's hosted, but it sounds better than "right out of the one-click set-up").

How does it work? When a Vanilla Forum recognizes that someone is accessing the forum through a smartphone, it automatically switches to the Vanilla Mobile theme, so you don’t have to do anything! Vanilla Mobile comes with your forum - you can view it from the Themes tab in your dashboard (you don't need to enable it, enabling it would make it your default theme from all browsers).  This works for smart phones such as iPhone, Android and Blackberry.  For iPads, the forums look great on the browser provided so the forum will keep its normal theme and look just as good as normal (if not better – Vanilla Forums look great on an iPad!).
